Crosstown Arts Music Publishing Administration Support

Crosstown Arts’ Music Publishing Coordinator Charles Seaton is a dedicated staff member of Crosstown Arts’ music department, who provides Memphis-based musicians and individuals working in the music industry (producers, songwriters, engineers, composers, etc.) with free administrative support and direction to successfully administer the publishing for their music catalog.

The primary goal of the Music Publishing Coordinator is to ensure that Memphis-based musicians and individuals working in the music industry receive all available royalties for their original music.

Artist/Musician Requirements

  • The artist/musician must have been raised in Memphis, currently live in Memphis, or have created music in Memphis.

  • The artist/musician must be willing to participate in a minimum of two in-depth meetings with the Music Publishing Coordinator during the first two weeks of participation.

  • The artist/musician receives individualized assistance organizing their own publishing catalog, as well as personalized support identifying and understanding all music revenue streams relevant to their catalog.

  • The artist/musician is also provided with music publishing templates (catalog management and split sheets), as well as ongoing access to the Music Publishing Specialist who helps the artist/musician stay updated and informed on how the music publishing industry relates to their catalog.
